The San Francisco City Hall re-opened in 1915 in the city's Civic Center following the 1906 earthquake. The building is a Beaux-Arts monument to the City Beautiful movement that epitomized the high-minded American Renaissance of the 1880s to 1917. Some of the exhibits featured at City Hall include the San Francisco City Seal, the architectural features designed by the buildings main architect, Arthur Brown, Jr, the work of French Master Sculptor, Henri Crenier, the Key Exhibit, the Wall with Brown and Rolph, and The Historical Vault.
