Program outline:
Have you or your clients discussed adding Financial Wellness to your benefits?
Health wellness programs have been around for a while and are making a difference in the quality of life for employees. But what about an employee's financial wellness?

Financial stress is the #1 stress for employees. More than even employers are being asked by their employees for assistance in becoming more financially sound, savvy, and successful. The retirement industry has spent billions on general retirement planning education. But the game is changing, the stakes are higher, and employees want more.

Join us for an interactive discussion that will detail how Cisco Systems is taking on this growing need. You will hear firsthand how Cisco went from concept to strategy to implementation. And, of course lessons learned and how the program has evolved.

Speakers:
Katie Hockenmaier, CIPM, Principal, Mercer
Katie leads defined benefit and defined contribution institutional clients in designing, monitoring and improving their retirement plans. She works with clients in the corporate and public arenas to assess varying economic environments and implement best practices that are customized to each client's specific needs to hone their retirement programs and facilitate employee retention.

Scott Knowles, Sr. Manager, Global Benefits, Cisco Systems, Inc.

Scott designed and executed Cisco's Financial Wellness strategy, which provided Cisco employee's with a productive, personalized experience that enables them to create their own journey to optimal financial health that's most relevant to them and their family. Scott has also served in in a consultative role supporting country HR managers related to compliance, administration, and communications of the Canadian and Puerto Rico retirement savings programs. Additionally, he has participated in the development and rollout of a global retirement governance structure across Tier 1 countries in several theatres including AsiaPac, LatAm and EMEA.

Scott’s specialties include employee benefit administration and sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, project management including vendor search, selection and implementation, benefit design and strategy consulting, and client relationship management.
